Kate Beckinsale's Daughter Wants Her To Work With Dead Hollywood Celebrities

The 35-year-old actress admits Lily, her child with ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen, would rather she teamed up with "retro" stars such as Marilyn and Joan Crawford instead of Hollywood heartthrobs including Ben Affleck and Hugh Jackman.

Kate is quoted as saying: "Lily is really retro so she's kind of like, 'Oh I wish you could work with Joan Crawford or Janice Joplin.' I'm like, 'They're dead now. I totally get it, but it's probably not going to happen.'"

"She's into Marilyn Monroe and John Lennon and all these people. I really don't think I'm going to get to work with them!"

Earlier this year, Kate revealed Lily refuses to watch her movies, no matter how much she tries to convince her otherwise.

Kate, who is married to director Len Wiseman, said: "She won't watch any of them, not any! We tried it actually - we were on holiday and 'Van Helsing' was on pay-per-view and Lily was like, 'No, no, no!' She likes 'Some Like It Hot' - that's her favorite movie."
