Kate Beckinsale Won't Get Naked On Screen For Daughter' Sake

Kate Beckinsale vows no more nude scenes for her for the sake of her daughter as she herself had a difficult childhood memory concerning her own mother getting naked on screen.

Beckinsale, 34, is the daughter of British actress Judy Loe, who had appeared naked on a television show when the future "Pearl Harbor" actress was just 9 years old. This had traumatized her so much that she promised not to subject her own 9-year-old daughter Lily to the same embarrassment.

She narrates to AOL Movies, "My mom was an actress, and she did a nude scene on television when I was about 9 or 10. The crisis I had when everyone came to school the next day and told me they'd seen my mother naked just makes me kind of, you know. I'm not in a big rush to do that to my child."

"She's embarrassed enough that I'm an actress at all, without me being naked as well."

Beckinsale's father was also an actor, Richard Beckinsale, who died from a heart attack in 1979.
