Apparently, the photos were taken when Kate was taking her bikini top off while with William at a chateau that was owned by the .com/celebs/queen'>Queen's nephew, Lord Linley.

So far, no one still knows who took the pictures but they were published in a French magazine called Closer. This is the third time in just a month that a member of the Royal family is caught in a photo scandal after Harry and Philip were snapped in uncompromising situations.
