Katherine Heigl Says She's Enjoying Motherhood

Now that she's just about severed ties with the one show that has made her a household name, "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl says she is enjoying every moment of motherhood and can't wait to spend more time with her daughter, Naleigh.

The actress, who has also found success in recent years on the big screen too, admits that she would rather stay home with her adopted daughter than work and have to miss out on Naleigh's special moments.

According to RTE News, Heigl says: "Naleigh's still so new in our lives. They change every month so monumentally that every month she's a new kid."

Heigl continues: "She just started walking this weekend, she started talking more last month. If I were missing that right now, I would just be devastated."

Despite no longer being part of the "Grey's Anatomy" cast, Heigl will still be clocking in some hours at work, with several projects in development, including two new films, "Life as We Know It," and "Killers," which are both due out this year.
