Katie Price Apologizes To Peter Andre's Manager Over Unfounded Claims

Katie Price has been forced to apologize to Peter Andre's manager for putting her foot in her mouth. The glamour model paid "substantial damages" to Claire Powell after claiming Powell had an affair with her ex-husband.

The 31-year-old British star told BBC chat show host Graham Norton that Andre was sleeping with his agent, Powell.

Although the network's lawyers acted quickly and had the allegations edited out of the show, it was still heard by other guests and its hundreds of studio viewers.

After Powell filed a slander case against Price, the High Court in London ordered the former Page Three topless model to pay the agent an undisclosed amount. Price, who wasn't present in court, admitted that the allegation was untrue.

Meanwhile, the new Mrs. Alex Reid mistook her new husband's name with Andre. Price, who married mixed martial artist Reid in a quickie Vegas wedding in February, accidentally referred to her husband as "Pete."

She was talking with U.K.'s "This Morning" hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby when she made the slipup.

She referred to her and her new husband as "mine and Pete," but quickly realized her blunder and corrected herself, saying, "I mean, mine and Alex."

Price revealed she will be marrying Reid again in a more private ceremony than her 2005 wedding to Andre.
