Kelly Osbourne Mourns the Loss of Family Dog on Christmas

The Christmas holiday was less than jolly for Kelly Osbourne and her family, who mourned the loss of their beloved Chihuahua, Martin.

"Today is a sad day in the Osbourne family house hold we lost R dog martin of 14 years. Devastated does not quite sum it up! NotSoMerryXmas," Osbourne Tweeted on Christmas.

On her website, Sharon Osbourne describes Martin ("professionally known as Martini Bianco") as "a sophisticated little creature."

"Shunning the affection of women, Martin prefers the love of a good man," she wrote, along with a photo of the black pup.

The tiny dog was also featured prominently on the family's MTV reality show, The Osbournes.

Nevertheless, the family did appear to keep up familiar holiday traditions. "Every Christmas Eve the Osbournes have Christmas dinner and then exchange gifts. It’s our holiday ritual," Sharon Tweeted on Sunday.
