Kevin Federline Bans Kids To Watch Britney Spears' Shows

March 5, 2009

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline has banned their children from watching her concerts. Kevin decided the shows were too raunchy for Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, after watching a dress rehearsal of "The Circus Starring Britney Spears."

However, Britney wanted her kids to see her perform and so treated them to a child-friendly version of her 90-minute show, which opened in New Orleans on Tuesday night.

A source said: "It was great for Britney to have the children around. There is so much riding on the tour that she had worked herself up and her nerves were getting to her."

"Seeing the boys before her big night helped to relax her. She let them see most of her numbers in rehearsals, but the really sexy ones she left until the late-night run-throughs when they had gone home."

The 27-year-old pop star's first world tour in nearly five years features jugglers, clowns ninjas and aerial acrobats.

She is reportedly paying Kevin $5,000 a week to join her on the road so she can have her sons by her side.
