Kim Cattrall wants the world to know that she is no Samantha Jones, or at least in the bedroom.

The actress, who portrays the man hungry sex addict in "Sex and The City" refutes the idea that she brought in her own personal experiences to shape her onscreen alter ego.

According to gossip blogger Perez Hilton, the blonde bombshell says: "Most of my life hasn't been very fulfilling sexually. At one point in my mid-30s, I thought: 'Maybe I'm just not a very sexual woman. I play women who are sexually aware but maybe I'm not going to be particularly active.'"

Although the actress has been married three times and has written a book about sex, she says having a stable relationship is what she desires most. Cattrall explains: "I'm a serial monogamist, not shy but it takes a lot for me to initiate anything. My preference is a cleanshaven man who smells fresh and clean."

The second "Sex and the City" movie, which stars Cattrall alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, and Cynthia Nixon, hits theaters later this month.
