Kim Kardashian kicked off stage by Prince during concert

First, Kim Kardashian took New York, now she took the stage at Madison Square Garden during a concert by Prince. But it didn't last for long: homegirl was booted from the stage!

Kim was sitting near the front in VIP, of course, with new flame Kris Humphries. During a segment of Prince's show where he invites fans onto the stage to dance, which was luckily captured on video, Kim made her way up…but didn't get down.

Kim stood awkwardly, clapped her hands and did some kind of twirl. Then she found herself being told to "get off the stage" by Prince himself.

He followed that up by saying, "Welcome to America." That's right. Here in America, when Prince invites you to dance on stage, you dance!

Kim took to Twitter to defend herself of course. "I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me," she said. But she reportedly later got a shot at redemption when she took the stage again near the end of the show with some other VIP folks.

"Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!" she tweeted.

Now, you can't say you're surprised. Did you see Kim's short stint on "Dancing with the Stars"? Prince can do a lot, but he can't make miracles.
