Kim Kardashian To Guest Star On "How I Met Your Mother"

Kim Kardashian is to appear on "How I Met Your Mother." The socialite will be joined by "The Hills" stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag in an episode of the sitcom in which they will play "magazine cover versions of themselves," a show source has confirmed.

Kim - who shot to fame alongside her family in reality TV program "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" - says she can't wait to appear on the show because she is a massive fan.

She told People magazine: "I am beyond exited to be taping an episode of 'How I Met Your Mother'. I absolutely love the show and am thrilled for this fabulous opportunity."

The trio are scheduled to record their appearance Wednesday, but a transmission date is yet to be confirmed.

Earlier this year, Britney Spears made a successful guest appearance on the show as a receptionist, bringing the program it's highest ever ratings.

She later reprised her role and bosses have left the door open for her character to make a return at a later date.

Other notable guest stars have included singer Enrique Iglesias, former "Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek, and supermodel Heidi Klum.
