Lady Gaga is voicing her support to her one of her "little monsters" who was sent home from school for wearing a t-shirt with the text "I Heart Lady Gay Gay." The chart topper reached out to a Tennessee student in a series of Tweets.

Cole Goforth was sent home to change shirts from Greenbrier High School on Monday after he was seen wearing the said shirt. School administrators said the shirt would cause a "disruption" among the other students.

The incident, reported by wsmv.com, sparked a free speech fight, with Goforth's mother saying the school violated her son's First Amendment right.

The school said they can appeal the dress code.

Lady Gaga has now reached out to her teenage fan, writing on her Twitter page: "Thank u for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you."

"Been in the studio for days and hours of record after record, and when I hear that a little monster was discriminated against BY TEACHERS…"

"It reminds me of my commitment + love for u, and the deep unconditional devotion I feel to write music that will deliberate you from prejudice"

"I love you cole, you just be yourself. You're perfect the way God made you."
