Lauren Conrad's MTV-rejected show gets offers from other networks

February 15, 2011 Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad's show may have been rejected by the very network who made her famous, but it looks like it's still forging ahead. MTV rejected her reality show for being "too high brow" but other networks don't think so.

The proposed project promises to be the antithesis of Conrad's previous shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," and will focus on her drama-free life as a fashion designer. But apparently MTV strives on drama, so they gave the project the boot.

Conrad isn't worry, though. She is getting offers from other channels that want to pick up her show.

She told usmagazine.com, "The amount of offers I've gotten has been very flattering. We all worked really hard on it and I'm really proud of it. It turned out fantastic, so stay tuned."
