Payne has been rumored to be romantically linked to Leona since breaking up with his long team girlfriend in .com/celebs/september'>September. Today, Leona told Mailonline that they have a shared bond, thanks to their experiences on the X Factor.

She said “We’re friends. We see each other whenever we can, but he is really busy and so am I. We’ve got a shared bond because of the X Factor. I always forget they were even on the show”.

Liam,19, has in the past admitted that he has hots for Leona saying “I do have a crush on Leona, she’s hot! I have met her. I haven’t eaten dinner with her though”.

Leona has plans for the festivals and she plans to spend time with her family contrary to some reports that were emerging saying she was planning to spend time with Liam.

The 27-year old said “I’ll be spending Christmas in either London or Wales with my family. We always have a big family Christmas and I am really looking forward to it”.
