Leona Lewis Reportedly Had Horse Fall Scare

January 4, 2010

British songstress Leona Lewis has been injured after falling from a horse in Los Angeles. The "X Factor" champ, 24, was spotted walking with an injured leg near her home.

A source told The Sun, "Leona was riding the day before New Year's Eve and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast."

"She went to accident and emergency. It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble."

She needed hospital treatment for suspected torn leg ligaments from the accident.

But the fall won't deter the "Happy" singer from riding again. The insider added that she will be fine and will be back riding her horse soon.

Lewis was at Las Vegas' Bellagio hotel party for the New Year's celebration.
