Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli split up

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Bar Refaeli are calling it quits. The Oscar-nominee and the Israeli beauty are ending their relationship after nearly five years.

DiCaprio and Refaeli first hooked up back in 2006 where they dated for years before taking a six-month break in 2009. They were back together in 2010 before announcing their split a year later.

"It was amicable, they're still friends and they are still talking," said a source told the New York Post, who first reported the split. "They just grew apart and went their separate ways."

The pair had reportedly been broken up since last week and rumors of a split began to circulate before then, when DiCaprio spent a boys weekend with Bradley Cooper and Ryan Kavanaugh in Mexico last month.

Their careers reportedly might have had something to do with the split. DiCaprio recently filmed a role for the Clint Eastwood-directed "J. Edgar," where he plays the titular character and former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.
