Levi Johnston to release a tell-all book about the Palins

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Bristol Palin's baby daddy, Levi Johnston, is coming up with a Palin family tell-all book. The one-time Playgirl model promises to give an inside view of the family headed by former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in a memoir titled "Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs."

Johnston, who has lashed out at the Palins since breaking up with their daughter, claims he is writing the book for his son, 2-year-old Tripp.

He said in a statement released by publisher Touchstone Publishing, "I want to tell the truth about my close relationship with the Palins. My sense of Sarah and my perplexing fall from grace - how I feel and what I've learned."

"I'm doing this for me, for my boy Tripp, and for the country."

After Johnston publicly stated that Sarah had lied about so many things, apologizing and retracting his statements when he reunited with Bristol, and finally regretting his apology at the end of their relationship, it won't be easy to believe the "truth" that he will reveal in his book.

"Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs" is expected to hit stores in the fall.
