"Scream" actor David Arquette is going to live in a plastic box to feed the hungry. He will be confined in a plexiglass box above the Madison Square Garden marquee for charity.

The 37-year-old actor plans to pull the stunt for about eight hours each day on Tuesday and Wednesday for charity. He is aiming to raise $250,000 for Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity.

Donations can be made at the site of the event or through text messages. There will also be a specially set up Facebook site for the act.

As for the actor's own welfare, organizers told BBC that he will be able to eat during the stunt.

Arquette serves as a chair of the Entertainment Council for the charity.
