J.K. Rowling's "The Tales of Beetle the Bard" Beats Out "Twilight" For Another Week At #1 On Amazon's Best Seller List |

J.K. Rowling's "The Tales of Beetle the Bard" continues at the #1 spot on Amazon's Best Seller List. The book, a compilation of five fairy tales, was originally one of only seven copies handcrafted and illustrated by Rowling herself. Proceeds from the book sales are donated to the Children's High Level Group, a charity co-founded by Rowling in 2005 for disabled children and children without families. The book has already raised over $6 million for the cause. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series takes up the rest of the top 5, with Book 4 in the series, "Breaking Dawn", at #2. "Eclipse," Book 3 in the Twilight saga, is at #3, while "New Moon" and "Twilight" come in at #4 and #5 respectively. "Twilight", the film based on the first book in the series, has grossed over $150 million at the box office. "Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell", a non-fiction exploration on why people become successful, continues at #6 in its second week. Christian fiction novel "The Shack", about a man who has conversations with God after the death of his daughter, is at #7 for a second week. "American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House" by Jon Meacham, a political tale of the seventh president of the United States, is at #8 for a second week. "Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched The World", the Non-Fiction best seller, is at #9. A new entry, "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch, is #10.
