Rapper Bow Wow Joins Campaign To Encourage Young Voters

Rapper and actor Bow Wow has joined in with numerous other Hollywood celebrities in yet another campaign that encourages young Americans across the United States to get out to the polls and vote.

The star has joined in Walk Across America's campaign initiative to encourage voters to register and participate in the nationwide poll in November. He will travel across the nation by bus and by foot to visit local radio stations, colleges and universities to assist with the voter registration process.

Bow Wow will begin his voting tour in Atlanta, Georgia on October 1 and will finish up in Hartford, Connecticut on October 15.

The rapper told AllHipHop.com that it is crucial for young people to get involved and cast their votes in the election. He says, "It's important for the youth to participate because we're tomorrow's leaders. We need to make sure that our voices are heard and have a say in the decisions that will affect our lives and our country for years to come."

Bow Wow is also set to launch his own non-profit organization later this year. According to the website, the Follow The Leader Foundation recognizes leadership, achievement and excellence in people through work, play, school and family.
