Famed entertainer and Krumper Tommy The Clown and rapper Snoop Dogg are teaming up to create an organization to help at-risk youth across the country. The new foundation, C.L.O.U.T. (Changing Lives One Youth at a Time), will help provide a creative and social outlets for kids to help prevent other misplaced energy which often leads to gang violence, crime and abuse.

C.L.O.U.T. is looking to hold a monthly Battle Night which will allow young people to showcase their individual talents before an audience of their peers, performing through drama, dance, song, poetry or comedy. After performances, the audience will then vote for the winner of their peers.

Tommy The Clown sat down with Celebrity News Service to discuss the new foundation and the challenges they face.

He described the organization, saying, "C.L.O.U.T. is a foundation which entitles changing lives one youth at a time. I came up with it knowing that these kids need change, need help making a decision in life. I got together with Snoop and told him what I was doing. What I do is, I try to keep kids out of trouble, that's how it started. That's what I have been doing for many years. It became a foundation where we can work together to give these kids an opportunity, in the hood, in the neighborhood, all around the world."

"It's something that the kids can learn to do, it's an outlet, to try to give these kids an outlet to perform, something to give them a chance to make a decision."

The challenges have been hard for the group. They are currently seeking donations or corporate sponsors and they need to find a location that will allow the kids to come and learn and to hold the monthly battles. He explains saying, "If we can change one life, just one, we just want to keep pushing the movement. We need help giving these kids something to do. But I can't do it by myself. We need a place to go to -- a place where everyone can go to. There's thousands of kids around the world that want to be a part of what I do, but I don't even have a building for them to come to. It's frustrating."

Tommy is also preparing for his first National workshop tour, hoping to give both kids and adults the opportunity to study and learn with the master of Krump. He will be headed out across America to schools, community centers and dance studios, hoping to bring kids out there a chance to perform and to better their lives.
