The winner of ABC's "The Next Best Thing," Trent Carlini, debuted his Elvis tribute show, "Elvolution" at the Steve Wyrick Theatre in the Miracle Mile Shops of the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at 9pm on Monday, March 9.

"The Next Best Thing" was a celebrity impersonator contest. Carlini of Henderson, Nevada, won the grand prize, with Sebastian Anzaldo of Las Vegas, who impersonated Frank Sinatra, taking second place, and Donny Edwards of Las Vegas taking third place. Edwards also impersonated Elvis Presley.

Was it a coincidence that the best impersonators, according to the ABC show, were from the Las Vegas area? Anzaldo actually performs regularly as Frank Sinatra in the Barbra and Frank show at the Riviera hotel off the strip.

A press release says Carlini's "Elvolution" is a modern-day take on King's musical career when it was at its peak. The show plays Sunday through Thursday at 9 pm and Fridays at 7 and 9 pm, with no shows on Saturdays.
