Lindsay Lohan in court today for lying to the cops

Actress Lindsay Lohan must be crossing her fingers as her life depends on her lawyer today.She will be appearing in court to answer to charges from a 2012 case where she lied to the police who were investigating an accident she was involved in.

Lindsay Porsche crushed into a truck back in June last year and when asked what happened,she told the police she was not the one driving the car at the time of the accident.

Yesterday reports emerged that the troubled actress is reported to have gotten off the plane she was supposed to fly in to California after it had a mechanical problem.She was planning to hire a private plane so she does not skip court.

The troubled actress is be in some serious trouble is she is found guilty because then she could also be in breach of her probation stemming from the shoplifting case.

Unfortunately for LiLo,the prosecutors in the case are aiming at proving a pattern in Lindsay's actions. According reports,they plan to use her past actions to show that she is guilty and capable of repeating the same offences.

TMZ.com reports that is she is guilty,she will go to jail for a long time.

A child talent agent Susie Mains sympathizes with Lindsay saying previously,the actress was wanted by directors and producers,now,she is wanted by the law.

Mains tells Sky News that it is unfortunate that Lindsay is so talented and even when she made a transition from a child star to a meaningful movie star, she failed to sustain it.
