Lindsay Lohan was paid £62 a day to feature in steamy scenes in 'The Canyons'

Actress Lindsay Lohan had been rumored to have made a lot of money from her new movie The Canyons but reports have emerged that she made \$100 a day for the sex scenes in the movie which is reported to be on a low budget of £15,000.

Writer Stephen Rodric of the New York Times revealed that the troubled actress had a melt down and locked her self in a cupboard for three hours before filming the graphic scenes.

The 26-year old actress is reported to have stripped naked after the film director Paul Shruder,66, stripped himself.

According to Stephen,after Lindsay dropped her robe, they managed to film the scene in a 14-minute take.

According to reports, after filming the scene the producer noticed that the actress had been drinking so he offered to take her home but she refused and got into her Porsche and drove off.

Stephen also revealed that LiLo had been fired when she failed to turn up for a read through with the director and her co-star James Dean.

She then showed up at the directors hotel room and cried for hours before she was rehired after her screen test was good.
