LL Cool J Receives Prank Call By Eminem During Radio Interview

June 11, 2008

Rapper/actor LL Cool J has become a victim of a phone prank - by superstar rapper Eminem. Marshal Mathers called in under the guise of a fan during a radio interview.

LL was a guest on DJ Tony Touch's radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio station when a fan named "Jason from Miami" called in to challenge the rapper to a round of "Name That Tune," where Jason would recite the "Control Myself" artist lyrics and he would have to guess what song is that.

The hip-hop star was able to answer correctly the two songs Jason rapped. He also praised the caller for his superb rapping skills.

Then Jason said he would like to recite a track he composed himself. He started rapping "Lose Yourself" to which LL finally learned the caller's real identity.

Eminem reveals he is actually back in the studio working on some new materials. He told LL that he had been a longtime fan and wanted to hang out with him.

He told him, "Listen, man, you got this relationship with Dre. You're cool with 50, so when are we gonna hang out? I got cable at my house, and the game is on."

LL Cool J's next album "Exit 13" is scheduled for release this summer.
