Marie Osmond's Son Left Suicide Note For Friend

Marie Osmond's son left a suicide note for a woman who lived in his apartment building. Michael Blosil, who had leapt to his death on Friday night from his Los Angeles apartment, left a letter to a friend just before he took his own life.

Police sources told TMZ that Michael was supposed to hang out with the unnamed woman on that night, but left her a text message instead before 9 p.m. to tell her he had left a note for her in his apartment.

The woman went to his place and his roommates let her in. They found the note, which said that the woman was his only good friend in Los Angeles and he was very unhappy. The letter also mentioned things he would be doing for the very last time.

Although the letter did not mention suicide, police insiders said it was clear that it was a suicide note.

The roommates and the woman became alarmed, but just shortly after reading the note, they heard sirens and saw emergency vehicles on the street. They figured out what happened.

Michael, 18, was one of Marie's eight children. He was said to be battling life-long severe depression.

The singer's rep told ET, "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."
