Paris, France (AHN Entertainment) - Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard welcomed a baby boy with French actor-director Guillame Canet in Paris on Thursday. The new proud parents have reportedly named their little one Marcel.

A source close to the couple confirmed to People magazine that both "mother and baby are fine" and the "Inception" actress is "very happy."

Cotillard first announced her pregnancy in January.

Although she has been seen wearing a diamond ring on her hand, the couple never mentioned any plans of getting married.

Cotillard is currently starring in the Woody Allen film "Midnight in Paris" alongside Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams. The film kicked off in the Cannes Film Festival last week, which Cotillard did not attend.
