Mark Wahlberg Finally Getting Married

Mark Wahlberg is getting married because his daughter wanted him to.

The actor is set to tie the knot with long-term partner Rhea Durham - with whom he has three children - in August after five-year-old Ella began asking questions about their relationship.

A source said: "Ella is very smart. She wanted to know why dad and mom weren't married."

The couple will say their vows in front of 30 guests at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

Friends claim it took Mark a while to accept he would tie the knot, even after he had proposed.

The source added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "It took him a while to get used to the idea of getting married. But now he can't wait for them to become man and wife."

Mark - who also has sons, three-year-old Michael and eight-month-old Brendan, with Rhea - previously hinted he was ready to marry last year when he called his partner his "future wife."
