Mia Farrow claims Naomi Campbell lied under oath. The Golden Globe-winning actress told a war crimes tribunal at the Hague Monday that the British supermodel knew that former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor was the one who sent her the alleged "blood diamonds."

Taylor is currently under trial for allegedly trading uncut "blood diamonds" for weapons to help Sierra Leona rebels. He is being tried on charges of fueling the civil war in Sierra Leona that claims many lives.

Farrow, 65, testified before an international criminal tribunal that Campbell knew Taylor was the one who sent her the diamonds after a charity dinner at Nelson Mandela's house in South Africa in 1997.

Last Thursday, Campbell told the tribunal that three men knocked at her door in the middle of the night and gave her "three dirty looking pebbles." They did not say who the gift was from and she did not find it suspicious because, as a model, she is used to receiving gifts from anonymous persons.

She said that she told her former agent Carole White and Farrow about the incident at breakfast.

Campbell testified, "One of the two said, 'Well, that's obviously Charles Taylor,' and I said, 'Yeah, I guess it was."

She gave the stones to the director of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund as a donation.

But Farrow took the stand Monday on alleged Campbell lied under oath. She told the court that during the said breakfast, "Miss Campbell entered the room. She was quite excited and said in effect, 'Oh my God, in the middle of the night I was awoken by knocking at the door and it was men sent by Charles Taylor and he sent me a huge diamond.'"

At the cross examination, Farrow was grilled by Taylor's lawyers who questioned her recollection. They said Campbell claimed there were several diamonds, not one "huge diamond" as Farrow recalled her saying.

White, the supermodel's ex-agent, is also expected to contradict Campbell's statement when she takes the stand next.
