Beverly Hills, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Michael Lohan, who is Lindsay Lohan's father, has been charged with domestic violence, and it looks like he'll be facing the same judge in the same courtroom where his famous daughter appeared.

Lohan was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence following his arrest Monday night in Wes Hollywood, Calif, reports TMZ.

The 50-year-old Lohan was arrested after his ex-girlfriend, Kate Major, accused him of hitting her.

He is expected to appear back in court for his arraignment on May 23. He could face two judges in a Beverly Hills courtroom who presided over his daughter's previous cases.

According to TMZ, the controversial dad could go before Judge Marsha Revel, who sentenced Lindsay to 90 days in jail for violating her probation on a 2007 drug case, and Judge Elden Fox, who presided over Lindsay's felony grand theft case earlier this year.

Lohan was originally facing two other felony charges, but prosecutors decided not to pursue them.

His 24-year-old daughter, who is set to play herself in the low-budget remake of the 1999 movie, "Underground Comedy," is also expected back in the same courthouse soon after she was accused of stealing a \$2,500 necklace in January and for violating her probation.
