Michael Lohan Releases Audio Recording Of Crying Lindsay

November 5, 2009

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan has said he wants his daughter to go to rehab, including repeated interviews and television appearances to talk about his daughter's fragile state. Now he's released a 2-minute phone recording of a desperate Lindsay crying uncontrollably about her life and family.

"So mommy says that I'm like you were," she says in the recording obtained by RadarOnline. "She doesn't back me…she doesn't stand by me," she says before sobbing .

"I'm fine," she says. "No one cares about me. They don't, by the  way. It's about how they feel, not how I feel. It's not about me. It's never been about me, unless I fight for it."

Michael Lohan had been threatening to release tapes of her for weeks, in order to put pressure on Lindsay to seek help and to defend himself against detractors who say she's fine and doesn't need help.

"As far as Lindsay is concerned, if she goes into a rehab, I will stop," he told RadarOnline. "But if the lies continue and the prescription drug use doesn't stop, neither will I."
