Molly Ringwald Announces Her Pregnancy With Twins |

Molly Ringwald, teen star of such film classics as Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, and Sixteen Candles has announced that she is expecting twins in August. Ringwald plays the mother of a pregnant teenager on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It will be the second daughter and first son for Ringwald and her husband Panio Gianopoulos. The couple have a 5-year-old daughter. Shailene Woodley who plays Ringwald's daughter on the show says her pregnancy came as exciting news on the set. On Secret Life, she plays a woman dealing with her husband's affair, her mother's Alzheimer's and her 15-year-old daughter's unplanned pregnancy. A spokeswoman for the show says Ringwald's pregnancy will be written into the show. Secret Life airs on Monday night on ABC Family. |
