While the memorial for Michael Jackson is taking place at L.A.'s Staples Center, Beyonce continues to perform her own tributes during her "I Am.." Tour. On Monday night, Beyonce dedicated her song "Halo" to the King of Pop.

She began her encore by playing a home movie, showing a young Beyonce and Kelly Rowland about to leave for the Michael Jackson concert. "That was the night that changed my life. That was the night I saw my hero perform for the first time," Beyonce told the crowd of thousands.

"When I left the show, I said 'Mommy, I wanna be just like him,'" she continued. "We miss you. We love you. We thank you for all the memories, Michael Jackson."

Beyonce has previously performed tributes to the late singer at her recent shows, including performing a cover of Jackson's "I Can't Help It" from his 1979 album "Off the Wall."

Beyonce is also rumored to attend Michael Jackson's Memorial at the Staples Center.
