Beyonce has definitely put a ring on the MTV Europe Music Awards. The multi-award winning songstress added three more to her collection after winning Best Female, Best Song for "Halo," and Best Video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" at the awards show in Berlin on Thursday.

The singer, who is married to rap superstar Jay-Z, thanked her husband for "putting a ring on it" as she accepted her Best Video award.

Jay-Z, meanwhile, also won in the Best Urban category.

Katy Perry returns to host the show for the second time in a row. She dazzled audience with her medley performance of the Best Song nominees - "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas, "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland, "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon, "Halo" by Beyonce," and "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga - in cabaret-style.

Other winners include Green Day for Best Rock, Lady Gaga for Best New Act, and Eminem for Best Male.

Best Live Act winners U2 played a free open-air concert at the historical Brandenburg Gate to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
