Blondie, Pat Benatar And The Donnas Team Up For U.S. Tour This Summer

American rock band Blondie is teaming up with "Love Is a Battlefield" singer Pat Benatar for a co-headlining tour across the U.S. this summer. They will also be joined by special guests, California's all-female hard rock band - the Donnas.

The tour will kick off in Saratoga, California on July 21. Phoenix, Albuquerque, Memphis, Atlanta, Boston and Brooklyn are also on the bill. The gigs will finally wrap up in Houston on August 23, NME reports.

"Pat Benatar is not only a friend, but a fearless female rocker who has entertained me and her wealth of fans for so many years," Blondie frontwoman Deborah Harry said in a statement.

"This will be a reunion for us both and being able to bring our two shows to fans across the country is very exciting," Harry added.

Prior to the tour, Blondie is also set to perform with rocker Benatar for 19 dates in the U.S. beginning June. The veteran rockers are also working on new material for their first album since 2004's "Curse of Blondie."
