Carlos Santana And Buddy Guy Surprise Guests With Performance At The PRS Guitars Event

Grammy Award winning artists Carlos Santana and Buddy Guy have surprised the Signature Club members and other VIP Experience PRS 2009 guests with their appearance at Paul Reed Smith Guitars' headquarters in Stevensville, MD.

Their secret performance served as the official kick-off of the PRS Guitars' annual two-day open house held on September 25 and 26.

Santana and Guy took the stage together, playing three of the brand new PRS instruments showcased on the event. Santana held the newly released 25th Annviersary Santana model and the limited edition Carlos Santana SE One Abraxas model and Guy held a brand new PRS 305 model.

More than 1,700 people turned out for the main event, which featured clinics, seminars, factory tours, archive guitar presentations, demonstrations by PRS craftsmen and performances by more than a dozen of PRS artists.

PRS also announced several new instruments, including new electric and acoustic guitar models with two new amp models. A limited number of 25th Anniversary model PRS guitars will be available in stores in fall.
