Chris Brown has denied reports he will perform at the Michael Jackson tribute show. The "Run It" singer - who is currently on probation for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year - had been named by the pop legend's brother Jermaine as one of the artists to appear at the concert in Vienna.

However, his representative said: "Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show."

On Tuesday, Jermaine revealed Chris, Mary J Blige, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole will be among the artists performing some of Michael's greatest hits including "Thriller" and "Billie Jean."

The show will take place in front of Vienna's former imperial Schoenbrunn Palace and Jermaine said the venue had been chosen because his brother "loved castles."

Jermaine will sing a virtual duet with Michael - whose image will be projected onto the stage.

Organizers are expecting 65,000 fans to attend the event, which will place on 26 September.

Chris had previously paid tribute to Michael - who died on June 25 of acute Propofol intoxication - at the 2006 World Music Awards in London, singing a version of "Thriller."
