Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - "The 2011 Billboard Music Awards" aired live Sunday night and Eminem and Justin Bieber came away the night's biggest winners, each taking home six awards. Bieber and Em? Now there's a collaboration we'd love to see.

Eminem, however, never made it to the stage, although he collected awards for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Song and Top Rap Album.

Bieber, who after 2 million votes at Billboard.com was also named Fan Favorite, was honored with awards for Top New Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Album and Top Streaming Song (video) at his first Billboard Music Awards.

Rihanna, who performed alongside Britney Spears in a sexy and very Vegas-appropriate "S&M" number, picked up three awards, as did fellow performer Taio Cruz, Lady Gaga (who was only visible during a taped Beyonce tribute segment), Usher, Mumford & Sons, and Taylor Swift.

Katy Perry, Shakira, Chris Tomlin and Train all won two Billboard Music Awards, while Bruno Mars, Lady Antebellum, Black Eyed Peas, Enrique Iglesias, Ludacris, Nelly, Neon Trees, Skillet, U2, Will.I.Am and Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina each earned one.

Beyonce was the recipient of the Artist of the Millennium award (she's not even 30!), while Neil Diamond closed the show with a medley of hits and by accepting the Billboard Icon award.

Other performance highlights of the night included Beyonce's awe-inspiring screen-enhanced "Run the World (Girls)," and Ke$ha's glitter-fied "Blow" performance, complete with armed-and-dangerous red unicorns.
