Garth Brooks has sold out of the first five weekends of his concerts at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

The tickets for the 20 confirmed performances went on sale on Saturday, October 24 at 8 a.m. and were completely sold out by 1 p.m.

Additional dates are to be announced.

The ticket line and website for the concerts were flooded by fans but were able to take 141,934 calls before the system reached the maximum capacity.

The website alone got more than 5.4 million hits with up to 40,000 people queuing online at any given time. The whole process is now going under examination to improve the procedure to ensure the most efficient method of ticket purchasing is in place for other high profile concerts.

The shows kick off in Las Vegas on the weekend December 11th and Garth Brooks will play five weekend concerts up to February 28th.

Tickets for the country singing sensation are $143 including service charge. Fans that have been not lucky enough to get a ticket have still a chance to see Garth Brooks by obtaining the returned or unclaimed ticket that will be released at the Wynn box office on show days.
