Good Charlotte get kid-friendly on season premiere of "The Electric Company"

Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden are showing their softer side by guesting on the PBS Kids show "The Electric Company," including performing a brand new song.

They'll help kick off the show's third season since its re-launch when they debut the track "Who, What, Where, When, Why and How" during its season premiere.

A sneak preview of the song has already been uploaded to YouTube. The track is aimed more for kids than their usual fans. (Older kids should check out the song Joel wrote for his daughter, "Harlow's Song," on their new album "Cardiology.")

The special episode of "The Electric Company" with Good Charlotte it set to air on February 7th. Meanwhile, the band is selling out shows overseas before heading back to the States for their spring tour.

The new season of "The Electric Company" will also feature more familiar faces and hitmakers. Music producer and father-to-be Swizz Beatz will join in on the fun, as will beatboxer Doug E. Fresh, "The Daily Show" star Wyatt Cenac, Tony Award-winner Alan Cumming, "SNL" alum Jenny Slate, among others.
