Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - A track on Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaboration Watch The Throne has been dedicated to a slain college student. The track entitled "Murder to Excellence" is dedicated to Pace University student Danroy Henry who was shot by police in October during a disturbance outside a bar. "This is to the memory of Danroy Henry. Too much enemy fire to catch a friendly," Jay-Z states in the beginning of the song. Police claimed that Henry had a blood alcohol level that was above the legal limit when he hit two officers in his car. Henry's family denied this claim, but a grand jury cleared the officers of any criminal wrongdoing. The album was released digitally on August 8th and quickly rose to No. 1 on the iTunes album chart. The hard copy of the album will be released on August 12th. Article © AHN - All Rights Reserved |
