John Legend Announces Summer Tour Dates To Support "Evolver"

Grammy award winning artist John Legend has announced a series of new summer tour dates to support his latest album "Evolver." The soul singer has scheduled a few mid- and late-summer dates in July and September.

The 30-year-old artists will kick off his shows with a July 3 appearance at New Orleans' Essence Music Festival. It will be followed by a July 5 show in Atlanta, GA, before going on to make appearances later that month in Cincinnati and Windsor, Ontario.

The multi-talented artist will then return in early fall with a Sept. 1 appearance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The Ohio-based singer took home his sixth career Grammy for his performance with Al Green on "Stay With Me (By the Sea)" in February. It won in the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals category.

Legend released his third studio album Evolver, on October 28, last year. Rapper Andre 3000 of OutKast is featured on the first single of the album on a song titled "Green Light".
