Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - A prison inmate is now claiming that he had a role in the 1994 shooting of late rapper Tupac Shakur, a shooting which fueled the feud between Shakur and fellow late rapper Notorius B.I.G.. Dexter Isaac, a prisoner who is serving life in prison for other crimes is claiming that he was one of the men who ambushed Shakur on Nov. 30, 1994, shooting him five times. Isaac is claiming that he was paid $2,500 for the attack by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, a former music mogul. "I want to apologize to [Shakur's] family and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]," Issac said in an interview with AllHipHop.com. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and B.I.G.'s] mothers some closure," he added. Shakur survived the shooting, but the attack helped fuel the East Coast-West Coast fued which eventually led to the still unsolved murders of Shakur and Notorius B.I.G. These claims came on the eve of what would have been Shakur's 40th birthday. Article © AHN - All Rights Reserved |
