The $60 million renovations are finally done at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. On Friday, April, 17th, the Killers performed in front of a packed house and unveiled a newer, much bigger Joint at the Hard Rock Las Vegas.

The Joint closed in February with a Motley Crue concert to undergo the renovations - expanding 30,000 square feet that includes new retail space and a spa. The newer, nicer Joint seemed to be filled to its capacity - 4,000 - with screaming fans.

"Is it too early to say how awesome it is that we get to open this place?" Lead singer Brandon Flowers asked the crowd after a few songs. The band played an 18-song set.

The Joint has a new sound system, which sounded better than its old sound system, as well. The Killers performed "When You Were Young" for its final song, featuring pyrotechnics.

While the band was the kick-off of the opening of the venue, other headliners performed the entire weekend to complete the grand opening weekend. Avenged Sevenfold performed in The Joint on Saturday and Sir Paul McCartney on Sunday.

Coincidentally, Hart & Huntington, Carey Hart's tattoo parlor, celebrated its grand opening in the Hard Rock on Friday night, as well. After-parties for The Killers concert and the H&H opening were celebrated at Ago, Body English, Rare 120 and Wasted Space.
