VH1 And VH1 Classic To Air Beatles Programming In Anticipation Of "The Beatles: Rock Band"

In anticipation of what's sure to be the hottest-selling Rock Band title from arguably the biggest rock band in music history, VH1 will air a series of Beatle-centric programming in anticipation of the release of "The Beatles: Rock Band" on September 9th.

Three installments of "The Beatles Anthology" will begin airing Wednesday, August 26th, with the next installments following Wednesday, September 2nd, and Wednesday, September 9th. "The Beatles Anthology," the documentary compromised of interviews, concert footage, home videos , and more on the Fab Four, will air on both VH1 and VH1 Classic.

VH1 Classic will air "9 Days of the Beatles" beginning September 1st, including Beatles music videos, films, and specials. Among the premieres on VH1 include "The Beatles Retrospective," a special hosted by Mark Goodman which features Beatles videos like "Revolution" and Hey Bulldog" will air September 1st. VH1 Classic will also premiere Beatles films "Help!" on September 1st and "A Hard Day's Night" on September 3rd.

The network will also air specials like "The Making of Sgt. Pepper," the "Imagine: John Lennon" documentary," and a Paul McCartney live concert. The week concludes with the airing of the last installment of "The Beatles Anthology" on September 9th, when MTV Games introduces "The Beatles: Rock Band" worldwide, complete with three-part vocal harmonies and unreleased voice recordings from John, Paul, George and Ringo.
