Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kings Of Leon Headliners For This Year's Weenie Roast

Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kings Of Leon and Silversun Pickups have been announced as the headliners for the Los Angeles radio station's annual event in May.

Rancid, White Lies, Jimmy Eat World, The Airborne Toxic Event and Cage The Elephant are also among the bands that will perform at the KROQ's 2009 Weenie Roast y Fiesta.

The annual event takes place May 16 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. All the proceeds from the event will go to several local charities including Heal the Bay, The Surfrider Foundation and Aids Services Foundation Orange County.

The Weenie Roast began in 1993 last year's performers were Metallica, the Racontuers. Tickets for the event will be available at LiveNation.com from May 7.
