The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced plans for a spring U.S. tour in support of their latest album, "It's Blitz!" The tour will also include stops at the Sasquatch, Bonnaroo and All Points West festivals.

The New York City-based alternative rock band is scheduled to kick off their tour May 23 at the Sasquatch Festival in Washington state, their record label DGC/Interscope Records said in a news release.

The rock trio is also expected to make stops at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee June 12 and the All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey July 31.

The band will also stop in Chicago; Detroit; Columbus, Ohio; Minneapolis; Milwaukee; St. Louis; Kansas City, Mo.; Mountain View, Calif., and Manchester, Tenn., throughout May and June.

"It's Blitz!," the group's first studio album since 2006's "Show Your Bones," was released on March 31 this year. The album's first single, "Zero," hit radio airwaves in February.
