Naomi Campbell Says She's Changing To Become "A Better Person"

March 22, 2010 Naomi Campbell, Mike Tyson, P.o.d.

I’m sure we’ve all heard this one before. The world’s worst advocate for anger management, Naomi Campbell says despite her recent incident with a chauffeur in which she slurred profanities in a heat of rage, she’s nonetheless learning from her mistakes and trying to be “a better person.”

During an interview, the British supermodel confessed: “Everyone knows what I’ve gone through. I’m human, I make mistakes but I’ve come clean on them all. I don’t deny them.”

“I’ve taken the heat and felt highly embarrassed by a lot of them. I’m not proud of the things I’ve done and the incidents that have happened in my life, and I would never say I was. But I did something about it, I’m not above learning lessons.”

But can the Mike Tyson of the fashion world be forgiven once again? The leggy model, who’s been known to have thrown a few punches in her life, as well as have had assaulted staff with her blackberry, says she’s “matured.”

Campbell adds, “I stop myself from getting tired and burned out. I want a quieter life today. I’ve been through the party scene. You get older and your life changes. Things that matter to you when you’re 20 don’t matter so much when you’re approaching 40.”
