Natalie Imbruglia Scared Of Being Alone

Natalie Imbruglia is "scared" of being single. The "Torn" singer admits she is still adjusting to life alone after splitting from husband Daniel Johns in January 2008 and isn't sure if she is ready to start dating again.

She said: "I'm a bit scared of being single and scared of getting into another relationship, but I'm married to my work right now."

Despite her marriage ending, Natalie and Daniel remain close and she was delighted to enlist the Silverchair rocker's help on her forthcoming album "Come To Life."

She added to Look magazine: "He did some beautiful work on the record. He's a very clever boy."

Natalie, 34, recorded most of the LP as her marriage fell apart, but she insists the separation isn't the inspiration for her songs.

She said: "It's weird because I know people will read into some of the new songs, particularly 'Scars,' but I wrote that when I was in quite a happy place a few years ago."
