Natasha Richardson's Family And Friends Say Their Final Farewell |

Natasha Richardson's family and friends have said their final farewell to the Tony Award-winning actress as they laid her to rest in a private funeral held near her Millbrook home in New York. Husband Liam Neeson; their sons, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12; her mother, Vanessa Redgrave; and sister, Joely Richardson, were joined by approximately 40 people for the service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Sunday. Neeson briefly indulged photographers and briefly posed with his family for a picture. He and six other pallbearers carried his late wife to the church. After the ceremony, the family drove to the nearby St. Peter's cemetery and buried the film and stage actress. Richardson died at the age 45 after a ski accident in Canada last week. Her death was caused by an epidural hematoma due to blunt impact to the head. Theater lights on Broadway were dimmed as a tribute to her in the days prior to her funeral. |
