Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Nicki Minaj is definitely in high spirits about joining Britney Spears' "Femme Fatale Tour," but drugs or any kind of spirits won't be allowed. The female rapper, who recently joined Spears on stage at the Billboard Music Awards, says that's exactly how it should be. All the performers, including dancers, and even the crew must be 100 percent drug-and-alcohol for the duration of the trek, which starts June 16th in Sacramento, CA and wraps on August 14th in Toronto. Britney laid down the same laws on her sold-out "Circus" tour, where performers and crew were reportedly required to participate in drug tests. "As it should be," Nicki Minaj told Life & Style. "I think it's a great thing. It's definitely not a negative thing. It's not going to affect me in any way." You might be surprised to hear that Minaj says her recent tour with Lil Wayne was also a drug-and-alcohol-free one. And on Britney's tour, it looks like the ringleader is still in charge. "If that's the way Britney wants it, so be it," Minaj says. "She's the queen of her castle. It trickles down and makes everyone responsible." |
